Re: Good Gecko breeder to buy from

Hey there, I got my leopard geckos from a guy in JHB that trades as Aan Reptiles. His number is 084 359 8800. The baby gecko I got from him has been eating like crazy, very tame and gentle and is growing and shedding very well. I am very happy with my purchase. I can send you photos if you like. And...

Can I varnish the wood in my tank?

Hi all, My previous post was regarding the mold growing in mt GTP's tank. Now i see its happening (not as bad) in my gecko enclosure as well. I have bought a 400L air pump and im running air into all the tanks so they can dry overnight (I was told this is crucial). But i had a thought. I have some &...

Re: HELP! - Green tree python vs. mold

Hi Izzy Thanks so much :) where will i find this book? Is it available as an ebook? FYI - in my mind, the snake was too expensive. But i was not the one that bought it. My boss bought it in excitement but i am the "Keeper" for all the reptiles in our office as well as this snake. I am a hu...

Re: HELP! - Green tree python vs. mold

Hi all, thanks so much for your responses. I have just managed to get my GTP out of the enclosure in a smaller tank. Now what is the best way to go about cleaning her tank up and getting rid of the mold and most importantly, prevent it from coming back? I have heard that i should bake the wood in an...

Re: HELP! - Green tree python vs. mold

@ Jamster, thanks for the info man. Im worried so im gonna try and get the snake out asap as she was too much money to loose. Another problem is that she is pretty aggressive (or just looking for food) so when my hand is on the outside of the glass she strikes at me. So im pretty scared to move her ...

Re: HELP! - Green tree python vs. mold

Thanks Bushviper for the response. I agree with what you are saying but the tank is a 3 meter tank with different compartments so it cannot be changed. For now, do you think it is a good idea to upgrade the air pump to give more flow? Right now the air is kind of trickling in. Just for now till i ca...

Re: My Leo's poop looks the same as when it went in!

what worries me is that she has also turned very pale. At first i thought it was because she was going to shed but then i saw the weird poop. But nonetheless, i have provided her with a tub filled with moist sphagnum moss in case she does need to shed. She is still alert and everything. How often do...

My Leo's poop looks the same as when it went in!

I Have a 2 month old leopard gecko and i found what seems to be a perfect 4 small mealworms all stuck together. Is this ok?
Im not actually sure if its poop or if she brought it up orally.

Im kind of worried that she didnt digest them and in turn not get the nutrients

Please help
