Would be interesting to see if anyone else has had similar experiences. Literature says between 1 and 4 babies. Chatting to BV today he confirmed he had knowledge of 4 babies before from a female.

Hey All,

Just got an update from home saying that the female dropped a second baby a few minutes ago. Thats 36 hours after the first!

Will post a picture of the new arrival once it is mms'ed to me.

You see I dont just consider lizards as snake food.

Hope she has one or two more. Little one already took a cricket less than an hour after being born. Great feeding attitude.

Woke up to a very cute sight this morning. My C. vittifer was giving birth. One baby was running around and the mother was still in the process as she was visibly uncomfortable and staying in the hide. Yes once you have export permits from KZN it is very likely that you will get permits to import them and keep them in Gauteng.

KZN permits usually take 7 - 14 working days and cost R50. Not sure of the Gauteng prices.
