Ken Bartenfeld - Are you sure about the scientific name ? I'm no expert but what I can see Pachydactylus oculatus is the Golden Spotted Thick-Toed Gecko which is a beige colour with reddish-brown spots. Kay - Yes. took pics and put him back on his web.

Bushsnake - Container is the same as you get from shops when you buy
curry and rice. I find it easier to take pics that way.

Cute little gecko [Pachydactylus maculatus]

Hi Found a couple of these little gecko,s on a farm around East London. As far as I can see they are the spotted thick toed gecko. This one is about 5 cm long. Baboon spider ID

Hi All

Looking for an ID on a baboon spider I found on a farm about 45 km
outside of East London. Any help would be great thanks

Found it between a couple of old poles. It's about 6 cm leg span

Drove up on Saterday from Ventersburg.
