That's what I was thinking. A constantly warm hide with temperature gradient and then in winter days they can still go out and sun themselves as usual

Ah thanks for the input. I think I will put an inward facing ledge on top of the wall about 2 foot inward so if they climb the wall they won't be able to climb backwards over the ledge... If you get what I'm saying? If I put a big pond with fish in it will they eat the fish? I don't mind if they do ...

Bosch monitor outdoor permanent living

Hey there guys, I'm in th process of designing a permanent outdoor cage for a Bosch monitor. Can anyone give me any advice? I've see the monitor at Croc City who lives outside and his setup is fairly simple... I was thinking even in winter, as long as his hide is kept warm constantly he should be ok...

Crested geckos also come in a variety of lovely morphs and you can set them up some really beautiful rainforest themed vivariums. I have done the same. Next on the list is a giant leachianus gecko

Id have to say Ball Pythons. Beautiful looking snakes, generally nice temperament and loads of beautiful morphs to choose from.
