Re: Fauna Records Project

Hi @ndy...if I may ask, what is the goal of ReptiTracker? Yes, I had the same problem with a game I started developing...lots of interest, but to date no one came to the party with help I requested. Basically all I need help with, is acquiring the photo's. I do have a couple of descent photo's, but ...

Fauna Records Project

Good day to you all, Firstly, I hope this topic is in the correct section. If not, would the MODS please move the post. Being me is not always easy, as I am a very lazy person who struggle to see something through if it is not beneficial to me. But being me does also have it's perks. In my constant ...

Re: Limpopo Trip - HUGE Dial-Up Warning!!

If BushSnake didn't tell me about this post, I would probably have stumbled upon it some months later. Which would have been better, because by then the memory of the trip I missed out on, would have faded with the jealousy.

Great finds and photographs, guys. I will NOT miss out on the next trip...

Re: Southern DRC

This was quite strange to find in the middle of nowhere. Seems hunters left it there the previous season for passers-by to set the dry grass alight. Even more surprised it is in English! http://www.sareptiles.co.za/gallery/albums/userpics/13608/P5181904.JPG I apologise if this is in bad taste, but ...

The small Cordylus is C. jonesi...

I'm not sure about the Atractaspis in that photo, as they found both A. bibronii and A. duerdeni.

Re: Lephalale trip - Dial-Up Warning

You guys did well...

I wish I could've spent more time with you guys in the field, but I had to juggle between you guys and the family.
Next time I guess...

Hope you had a good time!

Cheers

Re: 3D Herping Game in FPS/RPG Style

At the moment I don't see this get finished at all. I can not do ANY modeling without reference pictures, not if realistic animals is what's needed. So far I haven't got ANY pictures to work from and I've searched the internet high and low. If you do have any photo's available DK, please send them a...

Re: Poetic Herpers

Not one of my own, but one of my favorites... The Raven By Edgar Allan Poe Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore-- While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of someone gently rapping, rapping at ...

Re: Just a few pics

Some nice finds Wolf777.
I realize this is an old post, but I have not been active on the forum for a long time. I don't know if you got an ID on the little skink, but it looks like a Wahlberg's Snake-eyed Skink (Panaspis wahlbergi)

Keep updating please...

Cheers

Re: 3D Herping Game in FPS/RPG Style

Hi Kev, I mainly use Blender 2.5 to do the modeling and animating. For terrain editing I have a set of tools, combined with Unity 3D game engine.
All tools I use are open source and free, as I have NO budget for this project...
