Re: where are all the KZN herp. societies?

friday nights probably, its the easiest night to work with. I think the purpose of the club would to be to network members and allow a sharing and trade of knowledge. i think it would kinda evolve on its own from there on. the main problem was with HAN was the infrequency of the meeting, 2 hrs every...

Re: where are all the KZN herp. societies?

it's weird. you would think with the SCORES of puff adders availible, one would have turned up by now. maybe a few of us should get together and set up a breeding project, and see if we can get something going. with the colouring and pattern variations of puff adders already out there, one could do ...

Re: where are all the KZN herp. societies?

well this is what i think, snakes4africa, i'd be really keen to get my hands on that data base and contact a few people and try to get something going. I'm not a proffesional and I don't keep scores of snakes. I'm just an avid hobbyist that enjoys the thrill of discovering something new and doing li...

Re: where are all the KZN herp. societies?

well I feel we should try get on going, the problem is that too many people are focussed on the sales in the herp. trade instead of the focusing on building up the interest. everyone predominently deals with exotics and forgets the amazing array of local snakes we have hear in KZN. if we could try g...

where are all the KZN herp. societies?

Is it me, or do KZN herpers not have an interest in organising any functioning societies? There was HAN a few years back. is anyone interested in starting one again? something where we can share knowledge, introduce new people to the hobby and get involved with local projects? maybe i'm just an idea...

Re: Releasing Captive Bred...
