Its diffucult but Ive seen some dark specimens like that from a few localities, Kakamas Nortern Cape all the way to Springbok and south to Cederberg.

The karoo ones are surprisingly red Brown.

Lets get some more opinions on the matter.

One of my favorite things is those "Bokspoor spinnekoppe"... You very often find them in abundance in a small area!
Apparently they are fairly venomous? Do you know more about them!
