Re: Afrogecko plumicauda

I have actually held the first live ones collected in 40 years in my hands. Wulf Haacke discovered these after having gone back to the same part of Angola where he found them so many years ago. He then used DNA on the new captives to complete the description of the species. This animal was also bre...

Re: Frenchie and SA/Namibian gecko lover!

Pinhead crickets, they are much more nutritious than wingless fruitflies, and occasionally red runner roaches babies (B. lateralis). Thanks for your kind comments ;)

Re: Frenchie and SA/Namibian gecko lover!

Very nice gecko's and enclosures, just out curiosity how do you enclosures open? I can't seem to figure it out. It looks like you slide the front panel up . That's right for the smaller ones, it helps preventing small and fast species from escaping. For larger species I use either ExoTerra enclosur...

Your Chondrodactylus angulifer is it of namib origin?

They are angulifer angulifer from a German breeder, so I assume the original bloodline is from SA ;)

Re: Plans to go in europa with ptenopus

Djinn, I am French and I have a small group of Pteonpus kochi . They are the biggest members of the genus and far easier than garrulus , as they accept crickets without problems, though you have to vary their diet. I have had no breeding so far, my male is still too young, but I will pair them later...
