These are a fav of mine as well.You have to be careful as they will eat and grow very fat and die young of fatty liver at 7 foot and over 20 pounds.

Oh I left ot that it is the true giant not the eastern or western diamond back rattler.These on average are 20 % bigger

Trans pecos rat snake

I collected this female a few years ago as a hatchling on the face of a desert mountain.I was looking for pictigaster and lepidus.Man I was so happy until I goy home and found out it was not mine.My wife claimed it.Then last year it got out all summer.I found it under a pile of wood in my yard caugh...

The winter gets very bad here.I bred caimens here tho in 99.I have kept crocs for most of my life in winter he will have an indoor pool.South of here you can heat your pond but here it gets very cold and I have never trusted it.He is a smooth front caimen not a palp.I can only have him outside from ...
