That looks like mouthrot to me.Not sure on how to handle that with venomous snakes,sure some of the experts could suggest a safe course of action.Good luck.

I don't want to get off the thread but i have heard drop for drop it's the cape cobra that is the most venomous.I've heard the male boomslang can get quite testy during the breeding season.What do you feed these guys in captivity anyway,will they take ft mice?

Jen would that puffy colour up as he grows up?Reason i'm asking is because I live on a farm just outside Port Alfred and all the puffies I find are dark black and yellow.Grahamstown is probably about 30kms from me.
