Re: Urgently searching for the following juveniles

Good luck with the park! When you said "Only reason being I cannot risk my 71 year old mother to handle these serpents." I saw the image of a granny with a black mamba, would look kind of funny!

Re: Invasive brown tree snake

That is kinda sad that it has come to that, but I think in that situation it is kind of acceptable, as it is bad for the rest of the ecology of the island. But sometimes people cannot draw the line, what about snakes which eats the mice which are not this brown tree snake? would that not be hazardou...

Re: what snake is this?

Eagle, you can ask around at petshops with snakes and get a snake legally, Cape Gardening Center had Juvinile Mole Snakes for sale a while back for R350 or R450 I think, they captive breds and on permit as far as I know, so its worth a shot to ask there?

Who does call outs in Ermelo

My brother has gone there to do Survey work, might give him someone's number as he sent me a photo of a dead mole snake yesterday.
Having a number handy might save someone's life, and also save a few snakes.

Re: hot or not?

JD, first thing would be do you think he is capable of handling them, would he be able to keep them without harming himslef or people around him. If he can, the age is still a problem, and you should think what did you keep at 16? I think it is a bit difficult, as you might know he has the capabilit...
