Oh so sorry Steve, i didnt look more carefull cos am using mobile..now i can see few of its black tail..am very sure that this is sumatra.
At this size borneo tail tip will be maroon or dark red.

I dont know about the schlegs envenomation, but in here (Indonesia) white lip viper will give you pain in the ass and many people dont have a chance to get medical treatment..lucky me then. Same like the our eyelash, even juvenile bite will get you in introuble but too bad there was no good document...

Am very lucky to have this species because this its the most rarest i've ever had or perhaps in Indonesia. Got this from a friend while herping at Borneo, he said that he got this brown vipers that he sure that its a puniceus..lucky me he dont have a clue at all about this Borneensis or he will not ...
