My BHS (Very Photo Heavy)

Good Day All Let me start this post off with the good news. As a few of you know, I recently had to move house very suddenly, and ended up in a Duplex. As a result all my snakes were sent to stay with a friend of mine, Tim Korb in November. Now 3 months later, the Body Corporate of the Complex where...

Re: dumeril female (possibly gravid)

Congrats Tachja

It was my pleasure to be of assistance. That is a nice big clutch of babies, considering that it is her first time as a Mommy.
Well done to you.

Re: Babies for Africa

Rian, definitely a successful end to 2015 for you. I also totally enjoyed the narration accompanying the posts. Just a stupid question quickly, What about keeping one or two of those rescued babies to introduce new blood so to speak into your existing specimens. I know that keeping of wildlings is f...

Re: Poor Breeding Season

The general consensus in conversations I have had elsewhere is that the screwy weather contributed to a few bad breeding seasons.
This clutch of eggs all look good, and I expect a 100% hatchrate.

Poor Breeding Season

I had a terrible breeding season this year. Out of 5 pairs of Corns that were paired up, only 3 pairs did the deed. The other 2 pairs ignored each other. Of the 3 females who bred, only 1 became gravid. The pairing was male Sunglow Corn x female Albino Corn, so I expect some very nice Albino babies....

Re: Very Large Rat Snake

The pricing is far fetched, and those kinds of prices would result in zero sales.

Re: Very Large Rat Snake

Thanks everyone for the input.
A truly awesome representative of the species, sadly I don't know how large it could have grown, due to the Park being shut down.

Very Large Rat Snake

Good Day All I have just seen a very lively debate on FB regarding a Blue Beauty Rat Snake. The debate surrounds the proclaimed 3.4m length of the Snake. I am not taking sides, and do not want to start an argument, but I would like to post a photo of an almost 3m Taiwanese Rat Snake which was taken ...
