You made an mistake. The Northern Cape is the strictest region and requires permits for all reptiles.
Where does the snake come from originally?

That smell that smells like an vet :) that's F10.
You can buy in smaller bottles like 50ml on request. It mixes 1ml to an liter.

Just another little update... I got myself another screw in light fitting, I wired it up and put the two lights in to test, both didn't work. So I connected it to the original red clip in light and that worked perfectly, so I guess the wiring is ok and so is the plug, and I doubt both fittings will...

You shouldn't buy reptile lights man. There is an chance that you have an bad connection to Eskom, I highly recommend you tell your parents to start installing surge plugs on the expensive stuff like the fridge ,computer and so forth. I myself am on such an connection and have regular troubles alrea...

This might be a silly try but take some water and add sheds, do a few random sprays at the cat.
After that move on to an few live simulations. Let an snake lay on the grass or in the house, when he sees it do some more spraying....

It's nice seeing the stages of the build, I just completed my massive beauty of an cage and I'm kicking myself for not taking progress pics.

The piece of wood you use to get the height for the next shelf is very cool. Without it the build is kinda useless.
