Hello All!

2cm B. Boehmei
3cm B. Albopilosum

Here are some pictures:

Red Rump sitting in his new enclosure... Actually ate a roach after only in his new house a few hours. He is going to be an amazing pet.

I have question relating to heating them... In the winter months it goes below 0 degrees Celsius where I stay.

I currently have my Ts set up next to a heatpad. Here is the picture:

Do you think this will be sufficient?

Hi there! Welcome to tarantula keeping :)
Your heating pad set up should be fine as long as you take care to not overheat your new fuzzy buttons! watch the ambient temps and as long as they dont get too hot you should be ok
Also consider only heating them overnight and on VERY cold days, I lived in PTA for 10 years and usually the ambient day time temps in my 'animal room' (north facing) was sufficient to not have to heat my snakes and bugs, but I had to keep everyone warm at night.

Good luck and enjoy your little bundles of fluff!
Happiness is a fat mouse and a warm rock!

Dont fly! 4X4! The noble eagle may soar! but a weasel wont get sucked into a jet intake valve...

Some people are like a slinky spring, they make you smile when you push them down a flight of stairs!
