Are spiders attracted to infra red?

The reason i ask is that at my place of work we have recently set up a cctv system wich records on motion.

Every single nite a spider will make a web across my 2 infra red cameras lenses wich sets off the recording when the wind blows and gives me a full nite's recording of a spiderweb blowing in the wind to go thru the next day incase something happened.

If i remove the web next day the next nite its back.

(Ive even doomed the cameras and this has made no difference).

Sean, I found this article on research they did. They used infra red lights, so I cannot think that a spider would specifically be atracted to it.

Other than that I could not find any other info.

Keep us posted. Maybe it gives off heat, and in the cold it keeps them warm??
