The Bitis atropos are captive breed from Europe but the parents should from mpumalanga thats what I know so far about the locality.
I have only bad pictures from the Baby peringueyis and one from my adults at the moment.
I also found a picture from a nice Cape atropos (I found it nice but its always in the eye of the beholder
) that one is not in my collection anymore it went to a good friend of mine.
And thats one of my favorites. I´ve seen a few Bitis caudalis with no horns but thats the first and only with many horns I´ve ever seen. It would be interesting for me if anybody can tell me something about that of course I think its not so common.
