They are looking STUNNING burmbuddy
What camera did your F-I-L get? Just a tip, if he checks under the settings there is usually a mode ofsome sorts, if he chooses landscape under the menu it tends to make the colours way more vivid, I shoot on landscape under the menu and then changethe shooting on the camera to TV and Manual, sports etc and my colours have been much much better.

That lavender is really dark lavender. Stunning. Hope you get to breed them this season.

Man they looking good!

Have you gone with the bioactive substrate? How do you find it holding up? Mine pee so much I have to clean out the cage twice after a meal and before they even defecate.

Thanks guys

Thanks Meg, I will try that.

Thanks Jacque man, pop by any time.

Barry White is on every night in the snake room Arno...

Hi Bjorn, yea man I am doing the boi active, works great, but I had to make it really thick (20cm) and do A LOT of initial work to get it just right, as you know they can easily piss-flood the cage so I added a lot of drainage and plant materail. It has been going strong for about 7 months, no problems, smells and I just scoop and mix in the rest.

Best part, I got all thr stuff I used for free as they cleared out a section of river close to my house. I used mulched wood for a lower level, then really dark soil and lastly A LOT of leaves etc, the stuff I used had a lot of bugs, worms and other nasties in, so at night if you watch closely some of the leaves still move around and thier poo is covered in insects within minutes.

Cheers
