Carpet Pythons

Hello everyone :) Thought I'd do you a favour and post some pics of my little beauties.

Stripes. Nice yellow colour :D Aint they cool?

Blue eyes Blue tongue

Cheeky little buggers!

This is a picture of my bigger yellow girl. She is much yellower in person. Her mate is a white one with what sometimes looks like a greenish tinge on his head. They are my first carpet pythons. The boy was in shed and didn't want to pose.

Image

She really looks like a carpet with this weave!

And now for something a little different. I just love these little guys.

Image

Anyone hugged a mouse lately? ;)

Image

Can you at least wait until I've reassembled my jaw?

The one is in shed and so appears darker and duller than normal

Thanks for looking

The Darwin CPs have also grown a lot since the pics in the post above were taken but I have not taken recent pics of them.

They are really pretty, the stripy Jungle looks good with so little yellow in the black.
Please post some updated pics of your Darwins, I don't think there is anyone else with Darwins in SA but I will hold thumbs that you find a male for the 2 females. Then I will hold thumbs that you sell some babies to me.

Just to answer from the other Carpet Python thread, my Jungles also only want to eat mice so I started giving them Multi Mice and they go crazy for them. MM are much bigger than the normal mice so you don't have to give as many at a time and they say once the snakes are going well on Multi's they will go onto rat easilly.
If you weigh your snakes you can see if they are big enough to breed, Irian Jaya (I think Darwins as well) females must be at least 1kg, Jungle females 1.5kg and Coastals about 2kg.
