Yellow anaconda pics

Postby Wolf777 » Tue Sep 01, 2009 4:29 pm

Here are a few pics of my yellow anacondas, sorry for the quality but they were taken with a phone. Both of them are around a year old.

Here is my smaller male. He has a spinal defect which I only noticed after I bought him(I was a newbie and didn't inspect him before I bought him, stupid mistake i know) but I couldn't just give him back, luckily the guy I bought them from gave me a normal male for free!(sounds like he didn't want him lol) This snake has the "typical" anaconda attitude but is starting to calm down.

And here is the bigger normal male. He has really tamed down nicely.

Sorry for the quality, wil take some better pics at a later stage.

A Yellow and a hand without the snake being attached to it.
Nice dude.

Gorgeous wolf. Like him and I usually don't like anacondas so that is saying a lot from my side.

Why thank you legless, yup anacondas have a fierce reputation, but they are very fascinating snakes and can make reasonable pets, my only problem comes when it's time to clean cages lol.

Very nice.

@ Wolf777... bite was not sore at all! My lip was sliced in two and could pick it up like a flap and see the gums. What was a b!tch was the 6 injections to numb the area! I lay on that hospital bed in a pool of sweat, blood and in tears!!! Which reminds me... Doctors are so quick to want to administer anti venom! Yes, anti venom for an anaconda bite! I had to whip out my catches permit to prove i knew what i was talking about!
