The male apparently is very chilled, the female will bite but I have never handled them, don't think these are the type of snakes that should be handled.
They are some of the most active snakes in my collection, every night they cruise all over their cage and are so inquisitive, even the female does not look like she is too worried about me opening the cage, would rather see what is going on. The female is also one of my best feeders.

I would like to get some Basins, maybe if I can breed these one day I can swop some for Basin babies.

I dont know of any pure Amazon basins in SA. I would also think about them. They are not snappy and grow huge.

First you need to breed these !!! Play them some decent music and light some candles.
