Catching pythons

I was checking out Angolan dwarf's when i stumbled upon this video clip. I cant make out what kind of pythons it is they catch as im watching it on my mobile. I just hope it's for food and not just for muti...here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkTebYnOPrg. Sad, very sad....

They are complete careless barbarians... They just got it in them.It's like a certain gene they have.. Nothing that can be done to get that ''gene'' out of them... Even if they just see a snake, they won't try and release it somewhere else or just leave it, they NEED to kill it...

Sad...which someone could translate it as I would love to hear what they are saying.

Do you think the "mixture" he rubbed on is to attract the snake?

No, sorry..I meant that, It was obvious (for me) I understand that not everybody knows all species of snakes.. So I just said how I would've ID'd it... :-? :oops:

I'm going to cause some tension here, which is not my intention, but from what I saw and understood, the guys were hunting it for food.
I don't see anything wrong with that? If the guy is willing to put a limb on the line, literally!, for some food, they must be pretty desperate. Man, that guy is brave.

I don't suppose any of us would bat an eyelid if the guys were going in to catch a warthog or a porcupine.

It was a big beautiful snake though. Wow.
