BV, that eggie had just seen me, no wonder it looks like it got a fright... :lol:

Henco, yes, I did get photos of that little bugger - will post one as soon as I have processed it... But I can promise you that those tiny little things are not the easiest blighters to photograph, so don't expect anything too earth-shattering... :shock:

Here are a couple of pics from Sunday’s efforts at Bainskloof – a lot of rock turning and scratching around with very little reward in terms of numbers of individuals and species…

Bains Kloof is a funny place to herp, Ive RC the pass several times and came up a few species, but active searching that terrain is a different story!

I really need to get in the bush soon...

That is a damn perfect photo of the Moss frog!
I am so desperate to find the lot of this genus!

That genus is one of the toughest groups to find - I have now seen and photographed 6 of the 7 species and just have Drewe's Moss Frog still to get. But there are rumours about that there are 3 new species in the process of being described at the moment... So, it seems like it is going to be a never-ending battle to finish this group off... :-x

Tyrone, yes the list is coming along nicely...! But there are still quite a few more to find, some of them not very easy at all... :shock:

Henco, that was one of the better looking toadlets that we found - the others weren't as nicely marked as that. Hopefully, next time, you won't let work get in your way of joining us... :smt021
