Southern adder again

Southern adder again

Happy to say another sighting of the Southern Adder. Now we know what we are looking at it we have had a few sightings. This one was spotted outside a friends house, sunning in the late April sun.

Its looks rather slender considering winter is almost upon us. Lets hope she does well over winter and grows big enough to breed.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Maybe it picked up a scent of a rat or a mouse at his friend's house.
