Snake found in Atlantis

Snake found in Atlantis

Postby digeo » Tue Sep 16, 2014 4:15 pm

Just wanted to post this. I found an aurora house under a rock. It was bright yellow with a solid orange stripe down the center of the back. I could hear a clear puff/spit bit did not strike at all.

I have no photo but googling shows the yellow snake, http://www.ispot.org.za/node/163197

I just found it peculiar to find a yellow snake in the wild.

The cape has some lovely yellow ones. In most areas they are green in colour. There are a number of snakes that are yellow in the wild.
