Slither season seems to be in full swing with hotter days. This poor little guy did not escape my overzealous and most times overly fearful garden service. It was a hot day early morning, measured about 23cm. I have included close up of head and underside. I can't find it in my snake book but I am complete novice anyway. Sad that it was killed because we really do not kill anything found on our property. It was this olive colour all the way through on the topside.

Yup, good old Sluggie.

Pity that is was killed as they're a pleasure to have around the garden.
