Snake in anthill.

Postby Rob » Sun Jun 10, 2007 2:23 pm

I recently got a pair of Homoroselaps lacteus, 1 normal coloration and one ''striped phase'' Not H dorsalis hey Craig? hehe
I hope to get them feeding well and hopefully breed. A friend of mine has bred once and collected gravid female once, all hatched. So I'm keen to give it a go. Food will be a challenge but I'm looking forward to it. Where's the fun in ordering a mouse and throwing it into the enclosure and its eaten.
Catching Leptotyphlops and Scelotes will be somewhat more stimulating. (this attitude may change after a few months :) )

Keep you updated :)

A H. lacteus we caught was eating thread snakes in captivity after a couple of days. Sourcing food won't be easy.

Just to find the time to go out.
The Leptotyphlops will be a little more difficult than Scelotes, just hope they take to them easily.
