Bitis arietans (Puff adder) DOR+Story...

Postby Eyelash » Mon May 09, 2011 11:29 pm

On Friday my parents desided to join some friends on their hunting trip and asked me to come through on Saterday morning...On the last stretch of gravel road I was driving behind another bakkie when I saw a pretty nice sized Puffie crossing the road(on the opposite side of the road). The bloke in the bakkie in front of me then desided to casually drive over the poor guy's head. This got me boiling and I desided to pull infront of him, forcing him to stop...After a very heated warning he apologized and I desided to leave it there...the boer was a "bit" bigger than me haha...

I wish people would just have more respect for the amazing animals we have and would instead of shooting or driving over them just take a second to see how interesting they can be...

This is a pity. I have seen so many people deliberately swerve to hit the snake.
And God has Created every animal from water, of them are some creeping on their bellies, some walk on two legs, and some on four. God Creates what He wills, for sure God has Power over all things. (Noble Quran 24:45)

That is disgusting, well done for trying to educate the fool, wish you could have sealed it with a nice snot-klap!
One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.

Sometime I wonder if these are not possibly the people attacked in the farm murders.

And it is such a good looking snake!
Pitty makes my heart sore, makes you want to do MORE saving these animal friends.

It would have been great to seal it with a "snot-klap" hey !Haha...It might just be BV...

I just wish people would make the effort to educate themselves and forget about the "every snake is bad" thing !
