Snouted in Dikhololo

Snouted in Dikhololo

Found Snouted Cobra in Dikhololo near Brits while cycling. It was around 6 pm. on gravel road. Caught it with hook stick I always take with on my mountain bike. After inspection, I let it go. A very nice specimen, only about a meter long. It posed beautifully but unfortunately I did not have my camera with me.

Cool but if there is space for a hook then there is definitely space for a small camera. You won't be forgiven next time...

I agree. Will tie the camera onto my camelback to reduce bumping. Hook is tied to frame with rubber band. Will get one of those expandables one day.
