I released this little guy in a place (not saying where! my secret!) where Im used to finding LOADS of thick toed gecko and striped skinks, I mean 2-3 per rock I turned over, the place was crawling with oodles of them!... about a month after I released him I went back... It took me an HOUR to find ONE gecko!... it may be that other things had an influence on the population decline... but I kinda feel guilty for releasing a 20cm eating machine there now
