I also have a system like this going and looking at running a second pump aswell. I threw in some comets and guppies just the other day... I never saw them again though ;) . Now looking at something BV mentioned about the seperate waterbowl, I'm gonna go and put one in now. Why should they not drink the fish water though? I'm guessing parasites?

Yep, parasites would be a concern. But with a good filter and pump it would help a lot... I dont plan on filling the ''lake'' with fish. Im thinking only 2 Pseudotropheus ''elongatus ruarwe''. Nice, colourfull and very clean fish. They grow to a max of 6 cm and is VERY fast. Like bushmaster said, no overhang branches and a seperate suply of fresh water.
