Looks brilliant, but wont animals in it stress easily? All the loud bangs from placing mugs on it or basically anything that is hard?

I do not think snake would be bothered as they do not have ears. I do not know about lizzards.

But snakes can pick up vibrations trough their lower jaw if i'm not mistaken. But as long its a tame snake that's used to people it wont be a problem.

I just thought this is perfect and will get one for the living room! BUT THEN... I realized I have a 1 year old boy that is fascinated too stand in front of the snake cage and bang the glass. The poor animal I put in there will never ever have some rest! It still looks beautiful! I'll have to wait at least 10 years now!

Bubblesharp a low wattage electric fence will stop the kids. Just kidding.

The biggest worry here is someone kicking against the glass and breaking it by accident. You would have to look at shatter proof glass or polycarbonate for the sides.

Depending on the species some snakes will not be bothered by movement or banging on the glass. Others will not do as well with it.

One has to bear in mind that the cage will need electricity so that will mean a lead across the floor or a plug point in the floor.

I have seen a cage with Cerastes in it which even bred while in a table cage like this. The sides were closed with wood though and you could just see in from the top.
