Rinkhals / spitters - Randburg Bourdeax

Hi guys , I'm new here, but have been reading the site for about a year.

No snake keeping or catching for me though! - just an utter fascination with them. So do you guys know of any spitters in the Bourdeax Randburg area? I use to live there and my garden was lush, green and lots of low plants etc
I only realised now, but my Jack Russel got nailed by something - both eyes swollen - 2 days in a row. I washed it with water he recovered next day. He was busy sniffing underneath the garden shed... and he kept my 3 year old away from there religiously. Any ideas

I doubt there are any in boudeax these days, the closest we used to find them was weltevreden or rivonia (this was some years back though).

Randburg is an area known for its rinkhals but recently Mozambique spitters have been found in Roodepoort area so it is not that difficult to imagine they may have travelled further towards Randburg.

Thanks guys - but I have to add that the house was quite near to a river and big bushveld - so it might have been.
