Where are you based?
I would suggest take it to the nearest piece of veld.

I'm sitting between farms here, and the farmers will not take lightly if I release a boomslang between vinyards that they are busy picking, their really is no open veld around here to release it savely, most people out here kill snakes, we try and educate them on snakes, but its difficult, the blacks here are very scared of snakes and kill it without thinking.

You being between vineyards... western cape.

Walk to the closest hill and release it there.

The rule with releasing snakes is to let it go as close to where you found it, but if this is not possible and seeing that it is juvenile and a boomslang which is common all over South Africa, I cannot see a reason why you could not drive a few kilometers to where it will be safe and release it there. Boomslang are very adaptable and would find a home in almost any tree in South Africa.
