it was attracted a few weeks ago by breeding cape weavers. my gardener wants to kill it and my wife is terrified it will come inside . any way to encourage it to "emigrate"?

In a few days I'll be in George I would come but I don't think relocating snakes is as easy as in rwanda, right ?

There is a snake park in George . Call them when you have him in sight and keep your eye on him till help arrives.

If I'm gonna be an old, lonely man, I'm gonna need a thing, you know, a hook, like that guy on the subway who eats his own face. So I figure I'll be Crazy Man with a Snake, y'know. Crazy Snake Man. And I'll get more snakes, call them my babies, kids won't walk past my place, they will run. "Run away from Crazy Snake Man, " they'll shout!”

Kenny for everyones piece of mind why don't you remove the snakes and release them somewhere were people won't disturb them. There is a lot of open bush in that area. That way neither the snakes nor any people will come to any harm.

Wow and I just left the garden route.

If you can't find anyone you could phone the fire department or even try to phone cape nature.

Kenny- Hope you enjoy George and that your studies go well. Would be great if you could do callouts but out of a legal point of view you have to have a catch and release permit. I can't remember what the requirements are but Im sure if you just phone cape nature they will be able to tell you.

You have one nice Boomslang there in your garden man.

I agree, try and get it relocated to a safe environment.

But I'm sure they won't bother you that much, they almost never come down to the ground.

I hope you get the help you need :).
