Found these two when I was moving some wood from our shed. Wish I had a decent camera to do them justice, real beauties! 70 and 65 cm, enjoy

Awesome stuff!

I have always loved the Western Cape inornatus as opposed to the other localities because of the vivid green colour and gunmetal grey head.

I kept some a s a student down in the Cape and really enjoyed them.

Not really important, but FYI, this species has now been grouped with the Water Snakes so strictly now it is Lycodonomorphus inornatus.

Very nice! I have always had a soft spot for olives, unfortunately I don't have any right now. Just for colour comparison here are a couple pics of one the EC locality females I had.

She was very green, we seldom get the more gray ones here.

Thanks for the name update Westley. The photo's dont show it well but the smaller of the two was a much lighter green, not as vibrant as Jamsters' one though. I also love them, returned these guys to our shed, hopefully they will stick around!

Good to hear man. Most people would release them elsewhere, but that would be like removing probably the best free ecofriendly rodent pest control you can't buy
