My new GTP in his setup.

Got this guy last week and I am loving this snake allot. Such a beautiful animal and very calm.
He really doesn't mind being handled at all which is great.

Very nice setup and snake. I love mine as well and my male that looks like this one is also very calm.

Are you not going to put a substrate in the cage?

Thanks :)

@ Mitton - No I won't be adding a substrate at this time as my current setup works very well, I have been through every substrate under the sun for aborial snakes and each one poses some form of a problem.

Newspaper with this type of humidity starts looking grotty and starts curling up after a few days or it becomes soggy and disgusting.
Reptibark, coconut husk, pete moss etc and all other substrates - The liquid from the Snake feces gets soaked up into it and after a few months starts getting very smelly and parasites start appearing out of no where including ants, also Mites often ship with this stuff and many other substrates as well as catching a ride on rodents and then make a home inside the substrates and become a huge problem.

I have found that just having no substrate is very clean and easy maintenance. If it was a boa or python or any other ground dwelling snake it would be different then id have a substrate but for ETB or GTP this setup works beautifully.
