That's a pity. Possibly a suitable nesting site where they will survive will be easier. Keep one area of sand slightly moist and warm and they might keep laying there.

She laid two eggs(stuck together) half buried under the second to last board in their stack at 84F

Dug up another clutch from these guys today and as seems the norm I missed them by a bit Both are in my incubator cooking now but they are pretty dried out. One im 90% sure is too far gone the other only 75% sure lol, but ill give them a chance.
This is the 4th clutch ive gotten from them and the forth ive missed. Its just so damn hard to know when to look with a species that you NEVER, EVER, EVER see. Im going to have to re-evaluate some things if im going to get live offspring from them.
Other then that the pair looks like a million bucks still and are healthy as can be.

Congrats with the eggs, but hard luck with picking them up too late. Let's keep fingers crossed they still make it.

It's strange that they are so secretive in captivity. I have seen at least 3 species in the wild and they are typically quite friendly and inquisitive.

But well done on getting 4 clutches! It's just a matter time before you catch the eggs early enough.

At least one appears to be. The egg on the right plumped up in less then 24 hours the other is still shriveled, hard as a rock and already discoloring.
