Some bitis pics

Postby Nasicornis » Fri Apr 25, 2008 8:07 pm

Here are some pics of some of my Bitis species that I currently have and hope to breed with in the near future.

They are really inspiring me to get a better camera as these pics do not do them justice at all.

Hope you like.

First up are pics of some of my female Horned Adders (Bitis caudalis)

Then we have my female Rhinoceros Viper (Bitis rhinoceros).

Ant then the male, which is absolutely stunning in real life, he is very light colored and his head is almost actually white.

Image

Then, my pride and joy, my female Gaboon Viper (Bitis gabonica).
She is so cute and loveable. (Male didn’t want to have his pic taken).

She is so cute and loveable.

She hasn't given you a love bite has she?

Stunning snakes, especially (if you don't mind me saying) your lover!

MrG, you are already on the list, can't add you again...

Yes she is quite the looker, the male has similar "bright" markings but she is just that bit more good looking.

I dont think that too many people feed rabbits to Bitis species. Take some pictures feeding time, assuming you feed dead that is. We dont need the bunny hugger backlash either.
