Some adders

Here are some pics I took this week of a few adders.

Both Puff adders are from Limpopo and I did get venom and scales for DNA.

These I forgot to clip when I photographed them.

This girl is gravid so I did not want to stress her any more while she was here.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

The variation of the 2 puffies from Limpopo is quite interesting, can't wait to see what the DNA studies tell us. The horned adders too look like totally different species, their markings bear almost no similarities to each other. Hope the gravid girl gives you a successful clutch, she looks a little worse for wear. The Northern Cape caudalis are still my favourite of all the varieties.
