Some randoms

I decided to sun some of my dwarf adders. In the field they dont just bask for heat sakes, but for Vitamin D and other benefits too.
I know many people keep and breed these guys without ever giving them natural sun but Ive decided it can only benefit them so Im going to do it.
Here are my pair of Luderitz cornuta basking.

Here is a pic of the above 2 snakes mating on Friday afternoon. Its only the second time Ive seen them mating but since they are cagemates Im hoping its happened more while I wasnt looking.

Here is a pic of one of my caudalis and a Hemidactylus. It seems he bit the gecko on the head, after which it ran up the side of the cage and died. Its the second consecutive time he has bitten a gecko and not eaten it. Til now he has never refused food. Probably just a temp thing with it still being cold.

And then here is a pic of a young male caudalis. A friend had a pair but his female died so he lost interest and I took over this little guy. I was pleasantly surprised, he's quite a pretty chap. CB by Creatures and Critters.
Smashed his first pink mouse on Saturday.

Stunning!
Would love to progress to these one day... They're a caliber of their own.

We don't need sunshine to survive but how we still enjoy it. It must have a similar effect on other animals.

Very nice. That gecko looks really weird stuck on the side of that cage.

Nice going.

NVLOOI/WOBBLES - That snake comes from Swakopmund area, I was very fortunate that this one became available.

Here he is again. He is quite typical of the form from that particular area.
