Male or female

Hi,
a friend of mine has send me this picture (bad quality) of a 3 year old single horned adder to determine the gender on the basis of this photo.I think it is a male.What do you think?

looks like a male to me too.

Very large and robust for a male caudalis, however the tail length leans towards male sure.
