Desert Mountain Adders having a Gay time...

Desert Mountain Adders Bitis xeropaga

I had fun filming these frolicking fellas - One very confused male trying to get it on with another male.

I have a female in a cage about a meter away. Do you think maybe the males can detect her pheromones from such a distance?

I was thinking you meant gay like happy but guess it has moved over to animals as well.

I saw armata's puff adder male trying to get it on with his cage mate I don't think there was a female anywhere near them.

Lol!That is a really cool clip. Was he really moving his head that fast over the other snake's back or was the clip speeded up slightly? At any rate confused or not I think he is very sexy and his seduction techniques are admirable even if he picked the wrong partner!
