2012 B. cornuta Babies!

Postby Westley Price » Wed Jan 25, 2012 12:41 pm

Hi guys

One of our old members had told me last week that one of his female cornuta had dropped nine babies. Needless to say, that is a decent sized clutch.

He mailed me some pics today and as our adders section has been quite dead lately, I asked if I could share these pictures with you.

The sex ratio was perfect, 3.6! How’s that for luck?

He fed them all the past week and all but two took pinks. And the two that didn’t take pinks were offered f/t while the others took live, so they will probably feed next time round.

Enjoy! I quite like pictures number 1 and 2

I hate calling snakes cute, but these little guys do look it. Interesting that they will take mice from the start.

Nice. Lets hope they all find homes locally.

Wesley: You gotta be joking 10K a pair....i always sold mine for 3k a pair, o is that the equavalent of what these breeders get in Europe, now they expect SA herpers to pay 10k...........totally insane. I have heard this been quoted to guys wanting to buy from certain breeders, not taking a shot at you Wesley but i would never pay more than 3k, for a pair well started on pinks.
