Gab Bite!!!

Postby mikec29 » Fri Feb 15, 2008 8:03 pm

Did any one see the show on national Geographic last Night called "extrean vipers"? there was this one herp wanted to measure the fangs of a gab, so he got this one guy (who apparently has been keeping hots for 30 years or something) to help him! anyhow this dumb ass had the task of holding this 8 pound gab while the herp measured the fangs, he held the gab with his thumb on its head and his index finger under its jaw, anyway to cut a long story short, after they were saying how puffies and some other vipers have been known to bite through their bottom jaws and get their fangs into the handerlers fingers, this gab did the same thing!    you should have seen this guys face after he felt the prick and noticed the blood! luckily for him it was a "dry" bite and all he experienced was a little burning!

has anyony here ever had the same thing happen to them?

heard of a few sareptiles members getting this shock of their lives... but infact the gaboons bite through their lip with their teeth and not the fang. They all thought they got bitten too hehe. it is not bad handeling skills, if they want to do it they will...just teeth tho, but still scary!

Talk about getting a fright!
what the hell is wrong with me?
