Snoutie

Postby mailjvdb » Fri Jul 23, 2010 1:54 am

Caught this docile snoutie on our plot a while back. It was so terrified it regurgitated its meal after i placed it in the bucket. This is the most common snake on our plot, as i have a nursery and here's plenty of frogs and toads which they seem to love.

Lol, i've only seen it now, but there is a heart shaped shadow in the bottom of the tub, lol, weird! I don't think it's a banded(haha, the bandit...), but we do get them here on occasion. this one had normal coloration in sun, a bit speckled though, but did not show any dark bands yet, so i doubt, as sub adults usually starts showing faint bands :) I just love snouties!

I meant to say the shadow seems to be causing the banded appearance
