Mozam Spitting Cobra in Umhlanga

Postby hunter1 » Fri Nov 05, 2010 2:06 pm

Quite an odd story, on sunday my girlfriend and friend arrived home after a promotion in Umhlanga and found their dog dead on the driveway. The dog only had a swollen leg, i reported this to a snake expert and good friend, and suggested a mozam he said it was highly unlikely as the dog would have got spat at first. Anyway last night my mate calls me to tell me hes got a callout a couple houses down from where the dog was killed and a man has been spat in the eye. To cut the story short we found a 1.2m male mozam spitter in a flower pot in the house.

:smt006 Must've been really exciting seeing that.

Did you get spat in the eye?

Sorry about the dog Will.
They are doing work all around the Hawaain forest so the snakes must be moving to escape the construction.

JP is correct when it comes to all the construction work going on at Hawaan.
The snakes are definitely being driven out, I got the Green Mamba a couple weeks back on someones Patio in that area.
