ID Please

Good day

This must be the worse quality photo ever but I hope someone can tell me what type of cobra this is?

Length was 2.1 and Weight was 2.4kg

It was taken by my father (not good with cameras or any technology) on his farm while back just outside Cullinan.

Looks like a Snouted Cobra from the dorsal pattern, but as you said, crappy picture, haha.

Yeah Snouted cobra. Depending on where it was taken it could also be N. anchietae.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

My guess also Snouted cobra. Lived in that area for three years. Plenty of them around

Dont get too comfy with taking photos, those buggers are agrro and can strike a descent distance. Not the the friendliest of snakes espcially when hot :D Very impressive snakes :)

I only read half the post. Near Cullinan could never had been N. ancheitae. Sorry for such a stupid mistake.
