Hi all
Day before yesterday I got a SMS from my mom.
SAYING. "Dottie (the killer cat) has killed a baby rinkhals she’s eaten half of it- is head poisoness?"
I told her to take it away from the cat ASAP.
The cat left the tail and started eating just after the poo hole (I’m not sure the proper word) and ate up till where my mom took it away from her .which was 3cm away from the start of its head.
1st Question
Somewhere along the line I have heard/read that ingesting venom cannot kill you, as your body enzymes breaks up the toxins. It has got to be injected into the blood stream?
2 question
Would the cat have kept eating the snake and stopped at the head or eaten the head as well?
If so would the venom have done something to the cat? Or is there a natural instinct built in that they won’t eat the head?
Bearing in mind the cats are
A species of 'wild cat” got her mother when she was a couple of weeks/months old??, walking in the road.
The mother mated with the niebours cat giving us a bit watered down wild cats in a since.
But None the less they are wild but tame cats!
