BV @ Sean wants to start the study on the 18th when he arrives. Mike was going to bring the antivenom on the 22nd (he is leaving JHB at 3am in the morning) so that means that the first week will be wasted.

BS @ Thanks will keep you posted.

Iggy @ Mananga opens at 7am. It takes about 30 mins or so from the border to the Club so you will make it - well almost. Don't think anything will start before 8am anyway.

What is the procedures or risks in moving 100 vials of anything across a border?
Surely the authorities eyes will bulge out of their sockets not knowing exactly what it is?

....Only if the authorities find it :) I don't think there should be a problem as you are generally allowed to transport medicine for own use. I haven't been to Swaziland before, but we've never had problems taking all kinds of strange things to Lesotho, Botswana, etc.

Swazi, at what time does the borderpost close at night? I hate driving at night (except when cruising at 30km/h), but I definitely don't want to sleep in the car outside the borderpost if we run a bit late.

WOW, I would never have thought that Swaziland had that many border posts!!

Since I can now take the Monday off, I'd like to find out if anyone else from Gauteng is going from the Friday (or early Saturday) untill the Monday. If not, then I'll have to return on the Sunday...

Nothing at the moment but will keep your offer in mind thanks.

It will take +-2 hours - if you don't miss the turn off just after Big Bend then it will be 4 hours :)
